An adult Sheep can be turned into Mutton at the Workbench. Sheep cannot be butchered if they are pregnant, nursing, in heat, or if they have been sheared. Sheep will produce 5 pieces of Mutton, which can be used in recipes or put into Meat Feed Bins. One piece of Mutton is equivalent to 40 units of food in a feed bin.
