She was one of the first inhabitants of the village when people moved there from the old country. She mentions in small talk how life was very hard back then and that she like for people to remember what they had to do to get were they are now. back when she was younger she used to tend to the Holstein's chicken and how she could always fid there eggs.

	Sorry about before.
	I'm not very social.
	So many young folks are coming to the village these days,
	they're causing a ruckus.
	Seeing you holding a grain bag just reminded me of it.
	Stop by and see me sometime.

	Our village was made by those who emigrated from the old country.
	My family and I were a part of that group.
	Life was harsh.
	They said that you could shoot grouse from inside your house,
	and that crops would grow without any effort at all.
	We all fell for those lies.
	But there was no work to be had in the city.
	We barely had enough to eat each day.
	So we decided to sail across the sea to become pioneers.
	Of course, I was just a child.
	I remember being excited about being able to see the ocean.
	At the time,
	the village was nothing more than a single log cabin,
	and four little earthen huts.
	You're lucky in that sense.
	I just don't want people to forget how hard we worked.
Small talk Do you go to school too? Nowadays, all of the children go to school. Back in my day, we had something calle dthe "old ladies' school." You'd leave your children there to work. I sent my children there too. After all, everyone knew everybody else in the village, so you couldn't very well not send your kids there. Of course they didn't really teach them anything. They were too busy for that. They just had the kids help with spinning thread and kept an eye on them.
